RELIGION & VALUES

This term for two weeks before Eid Qurban (6th to 17th of August), the entire school fundraised for unprivileged people of Asia Pacific during R&V classes. There were different rewards to encourage students to fundraise. The Year 6 students collected up to $417.35 and won the first place. Year 3 students collected $324.10. From Year 3, I especially want to mention the contribution of Fatima Hameed and Feyza Engin, who donated most of their pocket money, I really appreciate it. Thanks to all the parents who cooked food and sent it to the school and all the students for their enthusiasm and compassion. Below is the feedback from Year 6 students about their R&V classes and Eid Qurban fundraising.

Our class raised the highest amount of funds for Eid Qurban. The reward was either to go to the cinema or go jump. We wanted to go to the cinema and our teacher agreed on that and we happily went to cinema on Sunday. On Sunday, Mrs Amjed bought the entire class popcorn and a drink or water. We watched the movie “Show Dogs”. We loved it, it was one of the most hilarious movies ever and we were so grateful thankyou Mrs Amjed and Sirius College.
